House salad with lime-ginger vinaigrette

This popular classic salad is a favorite of so many. Easy, available year-round, and goes well with any kind of dressing.

Equipment

  • Serving bowl, vegetable peeler

Ingredients  

Lemon-ginger vinaigrette dressing

  • 4 tablespoon Lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 6 tablespoon Any neutral oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes

Salad

  • 12 ounces lettuces, chopped
  • 12 pieces cherry tomatoes, cut in half or any kind of tomatoes
  • 1 pieces mini cucumbers, sliced
  • 5 pieces radish, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, sliced thinly

Instructions

  • Combine all the vinaigrette ingredients in a lidded jar and shake vigorously to incorporate.
  • Add all the salad ingredients to a large serving bowl
  • Drizzle the dressing and toss to combine. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use any kind of leafy salad or a mix.
  • Add any vegetables of your choice like asparagus, green beans, broccoli, cabbage, or brussel sprouts to name a few. It is unlimited.
  • Any cooked grains and seeds are the best ad on
  • Any protein of your choice.
